Wedding planning can be crazy and a bit stressful! Our Bridal team is here to make dress shopping one less thing to worry about for your special day! Prior to coming to see us, you may have some questions. If this page does not provide you answers for all of your questions, feel free to contact us with any others you may have!

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, please! In order to make sure you have the experience that you deserve, we need a reservation to make sure that we can assign you your own bridal stylist.


What is the price range of your gowns?

  • Include prices for bridal, mothers, prom, formalwear, bridesmaids

    • At Maiden Voyage, we offer gowns for every occasion! Our bridal gowns range from $900-$5000. Check our designers page for more information.


Who should I bring to my appointment?

  • Remember that this appointment will be where you get matched with your perfect dress for your perfect day! Bring those close to you that will be helpful, encouraging, and supportive in order to make this journey all that it can be for you!

    • That being said, if possible, we would like you to try to keep this group to 4 people or less; however, if you would like to bring more people just let us know so that we can make sure to accommodate this arrangement.


When should I order my dress?

  • Bridal: Based on current shipping times, alterations, and other circumstances, we recommend that you order your dress 8-10 months prior to your wedding date. 

    • However, should you have a shorter timeline, we do have an extensive selection of dresses that can be bought off the rack for discounted prices. We also have a couple of designers that can accommodate for expedited shipping with an added fee.

  • Bridesmaids: 12 - 16 weeks

  • Mothers: 12 - 16 weeks

  • Social Occasion: 4 - 8 weeks

  • Love at First Sight - Dresses you can take home same day!


How do I approach the alterations process?

We do not offer in-house alterations, but we partner with several alterations' specialists in the St. Louis and St. Charles area in whom we are very confident and will provide you with all of their contact information.


Which forms of payment do you accept?

  • To order your dress, we require a 60% down payment OR full payment. In addition, we do offer payment plans.

    • We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards.

    • We also accept gratuity payments for our stylists.


What type of dresses do we offer?

  • In addition to bridal gowns, we offer gowns for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride/groom, bridesmaids, and other social occasions. We also carry veils, headpieces, and jewelry for our brides.

    • For after your wedding, we can help you with dress preservation as well!


What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Come prepared with a budget that we can be respectful of when picking dresses for you. Please share any inspiration that you have with your stylist. We are so excited to help you find your dream dress for your perfect day!
